Reiki Massage

Reiki works on the basis of energy medicine. The Reiki practitioner is able to tap into the energy that surrounds every living thing, and share that energy with others. This is the energy that fills our bodies with life, and the same energy that leaves our bodies when we pass on to the next life.

In a Reiki treatment, the client remains fully clothed while the Reiki practioner lightly places their hands directly on the client, or slightly above the client in various positions from head to toe. The client may feel various sensations in different places, but will mostly feel a sense of peace, warmth, and comfort.

A typical treatment lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. It is a very gentle treatment with results being noticed either immediately, or even days or weeks later. Some of this healing can be noticed as a physical healing, but has also been noted to help with relationships, attitudes, and positive lifestyle changes.
